1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PetToAnime website or service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

PetToAnime is an AI-powered service that transforms photos of pets (such as dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other companion animals) into anime-style artwork. For each uploaded photo, the Service generates four stylistic variations (Anime, Studio Ghibli, Pixar 3D, and Family Animation).

• Generating four anime-style variations is free of charge.
• The first HD download of any generated image is free.
• Additional HD downloads cost 5 credits per image.
• New accounts receive 5 free credits on signup.
• Credits can be purchased through the Service in packs.

3. User Accounts

To generate anime artwork and download HD images, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information, including a valid email address.
• Maintain the security of your password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Be at least 13 years of age, or older if required by your jurisdiction.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Use only one account per person, unless expressly permitted by us.

4. Credits and Payment

HD downloads of generated images are billed through a credit system. Generating images and the first HD download of each generated image are free. Subsequent HD downloads of the same image cost 5 credits each. Credits are sold in two packs: Starter Pack (50 credits for $5 USD) and Pro Pack (150 credits for $15 USD). All credit purchases are processed by our third-party payment provider, Creem.

• Credits are virtual units with no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Unused credits expire 12 months after the date of purchase or last account activity.
• New accounts receive 5 free credits on signup; these signup credits expire 60 days after account creation if unused.
• If a paid HD download fails due to a Service error, we will refund the corresponding credits to your account.

5. User Content (Pet Photos)

You are solely responsible for the pet photos and any other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that you own the photo or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions from the copyright owner and from any person whose identifiable property or artwork appears in the photo. Because pets are personal property in most jurisdictions, you further warrant that the pet depicted is your own or that you have authorization from the pet's owner to use the photo for AI image generation.

• You must not upload photos that are not of pets, including photos of humans, protected wildlife, or copyrighted artwork.
• You must not upload photos that infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or right of publicity.
• You must not upload photos depicting illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
• You grant PetToAnime a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and store your User Content solely for the purpose of generating and delivering your anime-style images.
• Unless you explicitly opt in through the Service, your User Content and generated images will not be used to train our AI models or be displayed in public Examples.
• PetToAnime reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

The anime-style images produced by the Service ("Generated Content") are created by AI models based on your uploaded User Content. Generated Content may contain artifacts, distortions, or other imperfections inherent to AI image generation. You are solely responsible for how you use, publish, or distribute Generated Content.

• PetToAnime makes no claim of copyright ownership over your Generated Content.
• We do not guarantee that Generated Content is unique, original, or free from similarity to existing works.
• You acknowledge that the copyright status of AI-generated images may vary by jurisdiction, and you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
• PetToAnime is not liable for any claims arising from your use or distribution of Generated Content.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that:

• Constitutes deepfake content intended to deceive, defame, harass, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Depicts or promotes illegal activity, violence, self-harm, or animal abuse.
• Infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
• Is used for fraudulent advertising, false endorsements, or misleading commercial promotions.
• Targets, harasses, or bullies any individual or group.
• Attempts to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its underlying AI models.

8. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. AI generation times may vary based on demand, image complexity, and third-party provider availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetToAnime and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or credits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
